I doubt that you'll ever be content with the horsepower, the seat, the way it sounds, or the way a semi blows you all over the road.
If you do a lot of highway traveling, a heavier stronger bike will be more comfortable.
Half of my business day is spent on the highway.
I just, last night, solved that very problem. I was fortunate enough to purchase a '85 Honda Shadow 1100.(showroom condition I might add) I rode the Honda on my job today. What a great day I had!!
I will however recommend a windshield. My Savage has a windshield and the first purchase for the new bike will be a windshield. It won't help in the horsepower area, but it will sure make a difference, at higher speeds, to your arms and neck.
The first thing I did when I got home today was jump on the Savage and take it for a ride. I guess I just wanted to let her know, she still holds a place in my heart.
